I desperately want to be a great chef! I love food & am incredibly passionate about the use of good local ingredients. I am never happier or calmer than when I am in my kitchen. These days we have so many activities in our lives but I think the most important thing to do sometimes is to centre yourself around real things and for me it doesn't get any closer to reality than cooking. I have spent years debating what I want from life and the opportunity to be a chef is at the very top of my list!

A staple at home when I need a pick-me-up [who doesn't love pizza!], a calm-me-down [nothing more calming than kneading dough!] or an impressive meal for sharing. The dough takes only 15 minutes work. It can be frozen too, which is really handy for days when you're busy. The sauce is a tomato sauce spiced with a little chilli. One of the pizzas is beetroot, goat’s cheese & walnut - like a salad but on pizza... healthy ;) The other is Parma ham, basil, asparagus & chilli. Hope you like them!

Hiya Alexandra,
Mysterious critic just comes up for everyone really except for the Chef Factor team. We didn't want to hassle people with having to register to comment!

Excellent, thanks Elaine! Wondered how I'd managed to magically do that

Looks yummy!!!
Exciting to see home made pizza, love it, we often cook pizza, homemade dough, or using tortillas or chapatti. All delicious and very versatile. They look awesome!
Allie, No one deserves to win this more than you! Julie and Julia have nothing on you. I jealously get to read your evening's menu nightly on Facebook, and think, "Oh, if Charleston and Dublin weren't so far away, I'd be there for dinner!" Good luck, and the pizzas look FAB, Darling. ~wendy
