I pretty much love food whether it be food policy & production or cooking, squashing, mixing, meddling, experimenting, feeding, tasting, assembling, sniffing, squeezing, shopping, perusing, planning, bruising, stuffing...I have hopes to run a B&B or cooperative or restaurant or social enterprise or charity cafe or something..it remains a dream..I want to bring it to fruition and go for it. I believe there is a space for a something to combine all these interests. O and if I win, I'll eat my hat!
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
The dish is called Autumn Glory. It is something my Mum makes in school every year. She started making it when they grew pumpkins in the school garden and she wanted to find a tasty easy recipe that the smallies would enjoy. I loved it when we first tried it at home and it looks so attractive served in the pumpkin. Essentially it is a pasta dish made with pumpkin, tinned tomatoes, courgettes, flavoured with ginger, garlic, fresh basil and adapts well to whatever happens to be around at home!
