You can teach someone to appreciate food but not to be passionate about what endless possibilities there are from good fresh ingredients.Simply put: I love food & I love cooking!! My time is spent trawling through cookbooks forcing myself out of my comfort zone,exploring new & exciting flavours.I would love to win to take my passion for cooking into the professional sphere,learning techniques,skills,ideas & finesse that only professional training can offer....I just need an opportunity..please

We're a big fan of fresh ingredients & a bit of spice in our house so this is my take on a tasty burger & chips! Sweet potatoes are oven cooked with olive oil,sea salt & pepper.For the burger mix minced lamb,cumin,grated red onion,ground & fresh coriander,harissa for a bit of kick & season well.Shape into burgers & griddle.Spice of burger is off-set by the cool freshness of the tzatziki.Serve in fresh rolls with vine tomatoes,watercress & rocket salad & a side of wedges...simple but tasty..mmmmm
