For the last three years I have done everything I can to work with food and learn about cooking, from blagging my way into kitchens in New Zealand, France and Ireland to falling asleep with Darina Allen's Ballymaloe Cookery Course atop my face (no mean feat as it is 638 illustrated pages long!). I love this industry and it is my ambition to one day own my own restaurant. I need to win Cheffactor so that I can train with the best cooks and make my dream career a reality

For my entry I availed of the services of Polly(pictured),Molly and Dolly my friend's hens to make a very self indulgent brekkie. I love the classic combination of lemon and honey with pancakes but decided to give it some added decadence by making it into lemon curd and honey ice cream. The hens were none too pleased when they heard as lemon curd is a lot more work for them but on tasting it they said "Cully and Sully would be mad not to give this a go as it's simply delicious!"

This is my idea of a wonderfully indulgent breakfast. Throw the diet book out the window for once and and go for it! Beats plain old maple syrup, I'm going to try to recreate this at the weekend. Love it!!!

the last time i looked at this i had about 300 or so likes but now it seems to be just 1
Facebook does a bit of a wobble on the "like" count from time to time, but they come back after a few hours, we are tracking the "likes" independently to Facebook as well, so keep voting!
