My earliest memory I have of learning how to cook was when I was about 5 years of age, helping my mother in the kitchen, helping my mother, baking home-made scones with fresh cream and jam, sponges, apple tarts. You name it we cooked it. While my mum hummed and I sang songs like "i'm mummy's little helper, i'm only 5 years old, i've lots and lots of work to do and I do it when I'm told". Mom was such a fabulous cook, warm-hearted and creative, a gift I feel she has passed on to me.

My SMOKED SALMON QUICHE with DILL SAUCE was picked because it makes a fabulous lunch for friends and family. you can have it as a starter, for a dinner party, or it can be a main meal, served with home-made chunky chips. It also is a wonderful idea for Cully & Sully to market it as a product in their retail range. It's a homely meal but at the same time sophisticated ... and it's not any more expensive! And for a healthy option you can use creme fraiche instead of full-fat cream!!
