My love of cooking started when I was 8 and my mum showed me how to make pancakes ! I’ve been cooking and creating dishes since then. I really want to be a chef and would love to have my own restaurant. I’m currently studying for my leaving cert and would postpone college for a year if I won this competition. P.S. I still love making pancakes!

This is one of my favourite soups. The tomatoes are roasted in the oven with chopped onions, garlic and fresh herbs and seasoning. They are then blended together. Stock is added and the whole lot brought to the boil. (Keep stirring!) You can add cream to the soup at this stage or as I prefer add cream to each bowl depending on your own preferred taste.
