I should win Cheffactor because I have an innate passion for cooking and baking. I love nothing better than trying out new recipes from cookbooks and the internet. I love a challenge and feel so happy if a recipe turns out great. I would absolutely love to have the opportunity to go to a renowned school like Ballymaloe. I have some time on my hands and would love to have the knowledge and training to open my own food-related business one day. I would be priviledged to be chosen for this.
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
My dish is my all-time favourite dish. Homemade Butternut Squash Ravioli with a butter sage sauce and parmesan cheese. I slice a butternut squash in half lenghtways and roast it for an hour. Meanwhile, I make a dough out of flour and eggs. I chill it for an hour. Then I roll it out using my pasta machine. I mash the squash and make ravioli with it and the rolled out pasta. I heat butter and toss some fresh sage into it. I pour it over the ravioli and grate some parmesan cheese on top. Et voila.
