I enjoy cooking and baking immensely and get satisfaction out of creating new dishes. In particular I love seeing people getting pleasure from eating my creations. I like to give presents from the fudge and truffles I make, and to have friends over for a lunch of homemade soup, hummus and bread. I would love to learn the tricks of the trade in order to start my own catering company or simply to continue making scrumptious food for my family and friends.
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
I decided to venture out of my dessert comfort zone with a purple themed dish. A whole black sole fish sits on potato mash infused with horseradish accompanied by a tangy beetroot purée and a sweet red onion marmalade. I chose the ingredients because they’re seasonal and can be bought locally, something which is important to me when cooking, and they’re very complementary. I love the contrast between the white fish and the vibrant beetroot and the subtle red onion colours.

I would love to eat black sole with your mash infused with horseradish and accompanied by a tangy beetroot purée set off by sweet red onion marmalade. The flavours are reminiscent of delicious seasonal autumnal food that warms the palette and the sole!!
