Now that I've retired, I've discovered a love of cooking. My wife is a brilliant cook but I'd like to learn more so that I can give her a break. I'm not sure whether I'd actually want to have my own products but I would certainly be interested in exploring the idea! I've never entered a competition like this so I thought it was time to try something new :)

My dish is an italian stromboli with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil. I didn't make the dough myself but the pesto is all mine! I served it with a salad and horseradish to garnish
