They say you have one life to live so it’s important to live it. When leaving school I wanted to be a chef but ended up in Business Studies working in London for 10 years but I have always looked back and known cooking was in my blood. Since 2002 I have been Mum and now feel its time to be ME again. People do get second chances to fulfil their dream like Mary on X Factor capturing people’s hearts. So Cully and Sully this is my opportunity for a second chance where I might by your Chef Factor.

I have prepared a Beef Tagine served with couscous and red onion relish. It is what I cooked for my 40th birthday last January during the heavy snow and it was enjoyed so much I hadn’t enough. It is a simple recipe, using round steak coasted in lovely spices like turmeric, ginger, black pepper, paprika, chilli, and cinnamon. I’m afraid I’m one of those people whose suitcase returns from holiday with ingredients and recipes to try cooking at home as my husband struggles to zip up the case.
