Winning cheffactor would be an incredible achievement for me.I have an immense passion for food and cooking and am eager to broaden my knowledge and further myself with a career in this area.It has been a long standing dream to be a student at ballymaloe,ever since the religiously watched 'simply delicious' series as a kid.I would love to get stuck into a new challenge and finally make a start at putting my stamp on the professional culinary world.Thank you for this opportunity cully and sully.

I have cooked a Mexican tortilla bake which consists of a layer of corn tortillas,a layer of home made chilli con carne,followed by another layer of tortillas and toped with a mixture of cottage cheese,grated cheddar cheese and an egg,baked in the oven for 30mins.It is decorated with rows of grated cheddar cheese,shredded lettuce,chopped tomatoes,chopped spring onions and olives.alternatively guacamole could also be added for decoration.Tasted delicious,the whole family loved it.

hi, im a mexican chef living in dublin the dish looks nice, but is better if you call it texmex tortilla bake, why? because nachos and chilli con carne are more texas food, with influence of mexico,because of the chili and tortillas i dont know if you try before the real mexican dishes? if you want i can show you some of them cooking traditionally, but hope you win, i will vote for you
