I love to cook and use local produce. For as long as I remember I have been cooking for family, friends, work colleagues, rugby teams, anyone really who looks hungry! Since having my own family, I constantly introduce my kids to different foods and flavours and enjoy seeing their little faces when try something new for the first time. Winning Cheffactor would be a dream come true, getting the opportunity to advance my cookery skills to a level that I could use to launch a new career.
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish: 
My dish is an adaptation of a famous seafood chowder from a leading NZ Restaurant. My mother in law brought it with her from NZ a few years ago and since then it has become an instant hit and firm fav with everyone who tries it. What I really love about it, is it marries lots of veggies, thus getting plenty of your 5 a day, with lots of fish! There is no cream or potatoes in it so its not as heavy as the traditional chowder usually on offer. Kids love it so great way to introduce them to fish
