I have always loved cooking and baking. On my days off work I baked for a hobby, and now bake a small amount for people in my locality. I always have to be the one in my house to make the dinner or bake a cake!
It would be a dream if I could win cheffactor, it would allow me to learn proper techniques and improve my basic skills to go further in baking and cooking.

This is a ginger bread house that I sourced in a Rachel Allen bakery book. It has four walls and a roof and is set in an icing glue.
It's a great dish for kid's birthdays and celebrations though I made this gingerbread house for my sister's birthday (she's in her twenties) so really it's for all ages.
The thick icing acts as a glue, and the more colours the better.
I love this gingerbread house because everyone can make it and it never lasts too long one it's on the table!
