I am really passionate about food, where it comes from, whether its in season, how its prepared, how it affects our health. I spend most of my free time when I'm not actually cooking or eating, reading food blogs, cook books or talking to my friends about food. My dream is to eventually own my own guest house on the west coast where I can grow and cook my own produce. I have been a big fan of Ballymaloe and all that Darina and Ballymaloe have done for our food industry.

My dish has all the aromas of autumn bathed in a sweet, toasty cinnamon glow. It is a homemade hazelnut and cinnamon muesli with vanilla bean yoghurt and pear compote. Its a really nutritious tasty breakfast, made with organic oat flakes, nuts and seeds roasted in agave syrup with cinnamon, vanilla extract, nutmeg and mixed spice. The textures and flavours are enhanced with vanilla bean yoghurt and a seasonal pear compote.

Thoroughly enjoyed a fabulous tasty dinner which Jill cooked for a group of us recently. Great flavours and presentation.
The best thing about Jill is her willingness to share the fab meals she creates with everyone. I'm hoping she wins so I get to sample more delights!

This super brekky recipe ticks all the boxes. Healthy and delicious too. I've been searching for something like this as an alternative to porridge and it's really great!
