I'm from England, grew up to the sound of peas popping and broad beans bursting from their furry pods.Mum and Dad were garden mad and in no time blanching and bottling of garden goodies was second nature.Dad was a barber and I followed him into hairy pursuits for the next 20 years.Cupids bow speared me on a weekend visit to Dublin.I now live and work here for a well known Irish food company managing a cheese room.I am food crazy and would love to go back to school.Ballymaloe ticks all my boxes!

Last Christmas I gave you my pud.No thats not right! For the correct quote see my lovely Inch House and Mossfield Organic cheese terrine with yummy Eden calvados sauce.Nora's lovely fresh pigs blood pud,Ralph's fruity crunchy crystal laden cheese. All layered into a dariole mould with local apples and irish calvados.Inspired by good Irish artisan produce.Plentiful when eaten seasonally, tasty when made with love, enjoyable whether alone or with company, savoured as a thing of beauty!'nuff said!
