Growing up, Myrtle and Darina's books were called the "Bibles" in our kitchen, Rachel's is the latest addition to the throne! I love to cook and bake and as a veterinarian I've had the opportunity to be involved in some of the finest local produce that Ireland has to offer in the meat and dairy industries. I would love to learn more about how to cook with these fantastic ingredients as I know that Ballymaloe takes pride in sourcing from its own back door.

Cooking for friends and edible gifts are my favorite creations. I also like to use whatever ingredients are in season. The homemade fudge stack is from a recipe handed down from my granny, the lemon curd is made with ten eggs from my own hens and the buns are made with autumn raspberries that I picked from the garden. Clover is my Irish Moiled cow who always gives my baking the thumbs up!
