It's no secret that I love cooking. I love the feeling of achievement when a dish works out and even more, thrill when my family and friends can enjoy it too. I like everything from reading about cooking, experimenting with flavors, buying and preparing ingredients to putting the finished dish on the table and everything in between. It is a dream of mine to learn to cook professionally in Ballymaloe and to learn all there is to know about the food business with you at Cully a Sully!

Everyone loves dessert. This cranberry, almond, caramel tart is the perfect way to end a meal. It's great at this time of year when cranberries are in Season. The caramel and almond are the perfect contrast to the sharpness of the fresh cranberries and the colours are so vibrant and beautiful. It is cooked in the oven until the berries begin to burst and bubble with the caramel inside the sweet shortcrust pastry. It is delicious on its own or served with vanilla ice cream of softly whipped cream
