Food glorious food! I love it, and I hope my friends and family do too as it is them I normally experiment on. Cooking is a labour of love, not simply because it makes me happy but because I get 50000 chances in my life for me to put a smile on the lips of people closest to me, there aren’t many things you can say that about. We have to eat so make it a great life experience. Self taught is a fun and interesting road to travel, but to be able to really know food would be an amazing gift.

This is our escape plan for an almost empty fridge. The humble omelette is tops. This one with mature cheddar, tomato, onion, chorizo and left over rosemary roasties is tasty. Top off with a slice of freshly baked Italian herb bread and butter, yum. The great thing is it takes 5 minutes. The Eggmergency occurs around our place weekly so go for frozen prawns, bits of pepper or rasher, stray asparagus tips, just about anything. PS start the pan smoking hot or end up with chunky scrambled egg. Tx
