I love food.I love preparing, sharing, experimenting and tasting it! I have been known to impress with my ability to open someone's cupboards and create a mouthwatering dish on instinct. Ballymaloe would be the dream to help me develop this instinct.
I learnt a little bit about food in college and learnt passion for food living in Italy. The Irish food industry is the future and I want the chance to get the skills to set up on my own.
I also love Cully & Sully! Pick me Vote Galup !

Galup warms the tummies, hearts and toes of family & friends. It’s a delicious mix of sweet red pepper, chili, chickpeas, sweet potatoes and lots more.
Born out of the need to feed a vegetarian guest at short notice. I raided my cupboards, threw it altogether and out came this seriously tasty dish that even sugar loving carnivores adore!
When naming it, I couldn’t decide if it was stew, casserole or what, so called it galup, as that was the sound it made when being dished up!

Galup sounds tasty and I can't wait to taste it some day!
Fiona Ledwidge is definitely the best and she deserve to win!
This dish sounds lovely and crucially that it would please both carnivores and veggies. Cooking on instinct is so important and it shows a great creative flair. You've totally got my vote!

Thanks Shane, I got some help with them from a good friend & genius, who I paid with my homemade chocolate tartufo!
I really do hope you win. We badly need something like this on the market.
Plus you're gorgeous and we need a fresh face in the foodie industry!
You've got my vote. Best of luck Fiona.
Legend of a dish Ms Ledwidge! Galup has been added to my all too short list of do'able dinners ;o)

As a proud supporter of the Irish Food Industry, my thumbs-up go to Foody Fiona's fresh, fun and fabulous approach to cooking. Inventing tasty recipes is one thing but inventing them at the drop of a hat brings talent to a new and exciting level. Vote Fiona
Fun posting! Best of luck - I had the hardest time finding traditional Irish food in Dublin (in August) - would love to know more about the cheeses, breads, soups, stews...
Sounds not only tummy warming but heart warming too! nothing like some sloppy comfort food to get the taste buds tingling!!!
Have sampled the delights of Fiona's Kitchen, she is already a winner, but I know how much she cold do with the Irish food Industry if she gets to Ballymaloe!
Fiona definitely needs to win.
The only restaurant, Simon Pearce, in my village in Vermont cooks from the Ballymaloe cook book. There cannot be too many chef's devoted to Ballymaloe food. Yes to Fiona!
