When it comes to food i'm passionate, adventurous and love a challenge. I entered my first cooking competition at the age of 12. Everything about cooking and tasting excites me. I was thrown in at the deep end at 13 as a kitchen assistant(as the chef walked out on an Easter Saturday night!)Since then i'm always the 'head chef' at all family and friends gatherings/events. I can only imagine how this could hone my skills and teach me exciting new techniques. A dream come true :)

I made chicken stuffed with home made pesto, mozzarella and chorizo, served with gratin potatoes, sauteed baby carrots, asparagus, onions and toasted pine nuts. My chicken was stuffed with homemade pesto(blended pine nuts, fresh basil, garlic and Parmesan), mozzarella, and chorizo. It was sealed in the pan and slow cooked bain marie style. Fresh cream, butter, garlic, rosemary and a small bit of cheese was used for the gratin. I made a biscuit cake and iced it with the cully and sully logo, yummy

I was one of the lucky one's who got to eat this delicious meal! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the flavour through it was amazing. And as for the gratin along with my favourite veg....what can i say....amazing! The desert was equally as good with the recipie taken back to Australia!
