I adore food and am passionate about wild life and nature. I feel that it is really important to know where and how our food is produced. I believe that organically produced produce and animals that are treated with respect and allowed to live a natural and content life leads to 'happy food'. I feel that eating and tasting food is one of life's greatest pleasures and if that food has been produced organically and free range, then to me it tastes even better because its 'happy food'.
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
Last year I started growing my own vegetables in our back garden and I really got great satisfaction from this. i also have two hens that live free range in our garden and eat all our slugs for us. The omlette I made is entirly produced from ingredients grown from our garden, spinach, parsley, tomatoes and of course eggs, hence Ellie's Backgarden Omlette :).
