You have 500 characters to tell us why you should win Cheffactor:
I should win Cheffactor because cooking is my passion. I have been cooking for family & friends for many years and the feed-back has been very complimentary. I like to experiment with different foods to create various tastes. This course would give me greater skills in preparing, cooking & presenting food. I like to think I am a good cook but with the help of cheffactor I could be a great cook. This course would give me the opportunity to learn more & have a future in cooking which I would love.
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
My dish is a simple delicious French Apple Tart recipe with fresh apples on a layer of puff pastry covered with apricot glaze. Serve with vanilla ice-cream or whipped cream (or both if you're not watching the calories!!)

Declan your french apple tart looks gorgeous. You would be the perfect person for this course how amazing would it be to learn new tips and tricks and be able to follow your passion. They would be very happy in picking you with the knowledge you already have and the enthusiam you show to learn more and always wanting to try new foods and recipes.
Wishing you the best of luck and I know they will make the right choice by picking you and they wont regret it.

Declan, You could then teach Valerie (not that she is not a good cook already) and then she could cook something awesome for her very tired Canadian friend.
