I have a distinct memory of being 6 years old & out for dinner with my family but in my head I was hosting my very own cooking programme just like Darina Allen however since 18 I ended up in the engineering & environmental route.Although I have a strong knowledge of manufacturing & natural recourses I would love to apply that information to the process of cooking and food and where better to learn.Please Cully & Sully make an unemployed,about to be 30,Darina Allen wannbe's dream come true

My dish is a swimming pool cake.I first made it as a child and again for a 30th birthday.The cake is a fun piece for both adults and children,food can be simple & fun.It is a cheeky mix of chocolate Guinness brownies,jelly & penny sweets.The sinfulness of the brownies is complemented by the sweetness of the jellies & fruitiness of the jelly.I would however love to propel my swimming pool cake making skills & other cooking skills with you at Ballymaloe :O)
