I love to cook, I love to bake and best of all I love to eat. I'm quite good at all of these .... Over the years i have bought Dozens of Books(yes Darina and Rachel are on my shelf;and Timmy's pizza gets made every friday} gone to many cooking demos, even did 2 years partime courses in DIT Kevinstreet .I know how to make Bread, and i probably would have gone to enroll in Ballymaloe,if i had the money!

I found this Recipe in the Sunday Times Style magazine Oct 24t, It’s out of the new Green and Black's Organic Ultimate chocolate Recipes: the New Collection! Finding the tin of chestnut puree in my Larder made the decision to bake the cake for supper very easy. Lidl dark chocolate and my own eggs in the Fridge we seemed to be all set for this cake. It’s simple to make and far too easy to eat ,hence a picture with no cake as it went fast.

Sabine you destroyer of men's waistlines

Hi Sabine,

It's true. I was a skinny 9 1/2 stone 6 foot string bean. Yourself and one or two others decided to destroy my slim figure. I'd like to say I hate you, but my stomach would divorce me if I did.

It has been a pleasure sampling your evil creations.

Best of luck

Cormac

I'll trade you a vote for a slice of cake...

Have voted on the basis of the many delectable concoctions I have sampled over the years... Having said that, I think I need to sample this one too!

Good luck Sabine!
