Over the last two years i've discovered something amazing, quite literally by accident! When my life has seemed gloomy and i've found it hard to cope, i've locked myself in the kitchen. There's something therapeutic about chopping, stirring and mashing. It takes my mind off my pain, makes me happy and those around me too. The opportunity to indulge myself in all aspects of cooking would be amazing. Nuturing my passion and learning about food could mean that one day I could open my own place.
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
This moreish celebration cake consists of a moist, light chocolate cake, sandwiched together with a decadent chocolate buttercream. It is covered with a thin layer of rich velvety chocolate ganache that literally melts in the mouth. The top of the cake is dressed with a combination of fresh seasonal berries. The strawberries, blackberries and raspberries contrast the chocolate's colour, flavour and texture, as well as being perfect for pinching when no one is looking!!
