I love to cook. I've always enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen and often entered cookery competitions at school. I studied languages at college and while working in France and Italy I got to enjoy new flavours and try different foods. I have loads of cookery books and love getting new ideas from cookery programmes. It would be a dream come true to cook for a living and have people enjoy my food. I really want to win this competition, Please pick me. Cooking is what I love to do.
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
My dish is Chocolate Cola Cup Cakes made using spelt flour and decorated with cola bottles. I used spelt flour as I have a wheat intolerance but they are so light and moist that everybody loves them.

i have tasted your cup cakes today and they are lovely.hope you win, good luck
Computer's back working so I can now thank you for your vote. Glad you enjoyed them. I'll be baking another batch this weekend so give a shout if you would like to get anyone else to sample and vote of course:)
I vote for catherine because their are so many people with wheat intolerance and this is such a lovely treat. My vote all the way!
Glad you enjoyed the spelt treats. It's true there are lots of people intolerant to wheat and don't even realise it. There are not enough reasonably priced wheat free products in the shops at all.Hope to get a batch of cola cup cakes done this weekend and get some to you. Catherine
I would love to taste these- they sound like a definite crowd pleaser!! I'm always trying to think of something 'nice' that will appeal to both adults and kids and Catherine's Cola Cupcakes would definitely fit the bill!
yummy
Well done catherine. we tasted you cupcakes during the week and they went down a treat. keep up the good work
a fabulous product , Catherine , there are three people in our house who are wheat intolerant and this is by far the finest treat teey have ever had , it is hard to believe it is made with spelt , it is so moist and light and thet recipe is so easy
So light and delicious I want more I hope you win cause everyone should get to taste Catherine's chocolate cola cup cakes good luck!
Thanks for your vote and kind words Glad you liked Catherine's chocolate cola cupcakes. Catherine
i have tasted catherines other delicious treats and if these choc cola cupcakes are as good, she will sure be the winner.
Thanks for voting for my Spelt chocolate cola cupcakes. I found it difficult to find wheat free or gluten free sweet treats, which were reasonably priced and tasted good, which is why I've been experimenting using different flours, including spelt and gluten free flours to make my own.
Catherine
I'm voting for you because its an original recipe and a lot of people are looking for good quality and fun wheat-free recipes - I can't wait to try making them myself!!
