My Cannellini bean and bacon stew tastes like you’re on a cattle drive. It takes a bit of time to make, with two hours on the cooker slowly developing, but they’re worth it. For the flavor is straight from the Old West, beans with a rich tomato sauce garlic,onion,cumin,chili powder— with a European twist to it,Worcestershire sauce, and the teaspoon of mustard powder instead of jalapeño's, that is. It great for a family meal or for a lunch served with fresh brown bread.
