I should win Cheffactor for lots of reasons but mainly, I love food. Especially cake. When interrailing during the summer, I had to try cake in every city we stopped, and in Lake Bled in Slovenia, my friends were secretly laughing at me because they said I got so excited in the cake shop, I got really awkward/clumsy and skipped the queue without even noticing. I also work in a famous cake shop in Dublin, solely for the cake. But also, I really want the opportunity to learn more about ALL food!

My dish is a smooth, rich, creamy chocolate layer over a base of crunchy gingernut biscuit, with vanilla cream and fresh fruits piled on top. I picked this because ALOT of people love chocolate. It's not difficult to make, so kids can help out! The ingredients are easy to get; we have hens and raspberry bushes in our garden so they helped and fairtrade chocolate is my idea of the best! It can also be used for bithdays, romantic dinners, girly nights in and nicest of all, just with a cup of tea!
