Win or lose its always great to compete, especially in something that you love. having two chefs in the family tree, and experienced cooks in the family it's often hard to voice your skill in the kitchen, however every dish is different and every chef has his/her own flare!. i would like to win or even be considered to win this prize as it would provide me with the knowledge, skills, and the opportunity to increase my love and enthusiasm in cooking and making great food. that's where the fun is.
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
Sirloin beef was diced and marinated in the fridge overnight in red wine, Rosemary and Thyme. The beef was sieved and sealed on a hot pan and then added to a diced onion in a pot. The marinate, 400mls beef bouillon and quartered mushrooms were added and heated until the volume reduced by half. It was baked in a shortcrust Ramkin base and puff pastry cover for 35mins at 200 degrees. The beef Bourguignon was served with creamy mash potatoes, blanched french beans, and a glass of red wine.
