You have 500 characters to tell us why you should win Cheffactor:
Why should I win Chef-Factor? Honestly, because all I want to do is cook. My favourite toy as a nipper was my "A la Carte Kitchen" - I still have it! I cook for the sheer joy of it. There’s no greater reward than seeing my friends and family enjoying my creations. Strangely, I am at my happiest when the kitchen is a mess, I’m an absolute mess, and there are delightful smells emerging from the oven. I’ve found something that I love doing, and this is my chance to do it courtesy of the macaron.
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
Ah the macaron; my nemeses, but I adore them. So damn finicky to make, but so damn tasty!! I’m entering these because of my experiences making them; I made these every second night for nearly two weeks until I had the technique perfect. They’re so versatile because of the amount of flavours you can make and the fillings you can choose. I made blueberry macarons, for two reasons: One because blueberries are in season and I like to make seasonal foods; and two because I love blueberries!
