I have always had attraction to cooking and since I've been home a lot for the past 3 years, due to a lack of work , I've been doing most of the cooking in my house. My beautiful wife Teresa and 2 gorgeous daughters Twiggy 13yrs and Truly 9yrs old are always encouraging we to cook new things for them and try out new recipes.
I would love the opportunity to learn so much more about cooking and working in a kitchen and all that goes with it. I truly believe this is the path for me.

A couple of years ago my wife and I were planning our daughter Twiggy's Birthday. On a whim I said I would bake the birthday cake.
I thought long and hard about it and said to myself what kind of cakes do you never see over here in Ireland? Red Velvet Cake! I looked up the recipe online and set to work. Now my only problem is the amount of request I get from friends and family to bake them this cake!

I have been trying to get Jim to give me the recipe. His red velvet cake is perfection.
Never tried the cake but hopin this will improve my chances...
