I believe I should win the chef factor competition because my recipe is not only a family favorite it is a national favourite.
I, as my children do, know the origin of this meal, almost all the ingredients in my signature dish have come from my farm, the potatoes have been grown, along with the cabbage and parsley. The pig has been hand reared on our small farm. I am passionate about cooking and would love the opportunity to learn from the best.

Dig into my home grown floury roof to savour the smell of slightly salted bacon (lovingly hand reared) sitting on a bed of my very own sumptuous cabbage. Enjoy the hand picked, home grown, parsley infused white sauce as it gently mingles with the other ingredients. Nothing spells a hearty Irish meal like bacon and cabbage. Most of the ingredients are grown on my own small patch of land. Bacon and cabbage is a national favourite, my pie allows a taste of this culinary delight in one forkful.
