Steamed puddings are old fashioned, seductive, loved by all the family and the ultimate slow food. In my case, made with lots of help from my twin toddlers and their 6 year old sister, stirring, licking spoons, eating the jam etc.
Using our own seasonal home made jam, picked in september and made with our own eggs, this is real home cooking at its best. Served with real custard or freshly whipped farm cream or homemade ice cream, this hits the spot with family and friends every time.
