I have been cooking since I was ten - and catered private parties for up to 50 over the years. From the age of 10-17 I wanted to be a chef, but believed that working in a roasting hot restaurant was not for me, little realizing that I could put the skills to other uses - a bakery business, catering, own range of food...(I was 17, c'mon!). So, long story short, I didn't do a professional cookery course, but always wished I had. I have great plans once I have the technical skillz to pay the billz.
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
I am very keen on creating the most nutritious and delicious food possible. So today's dish - Pesto Encrusted Salmon, Cauliflower cheese and Quinoa & home-grown spinach risotto is made from almost all organic ingredients. I like to use super-food alternatives to standard options, such as quinoa instead of arborio rice. My flatmate had two helpings...
PS A part of me wanted to 'cook' and enter a Cully and Sully Shepherd's Pie, but thought I might disqualify myself...
