I have always loved food. However it’s only in the last few years, since I discovered it's possible to recreate scrumptious dishes from local eateries in my own kitchen that, my true passion has really surfaced.
With time and perseverance I have learned so much and my dream is to make working with food my full time job.
Where better to start than in an acclaimed cookery school, who's strong emphasis on using organic locally sourced produce is now at the core of my passion in food!

Brown Soda Bread – an Irish tradition! I like to give my food a twist though and this recipe has evolved over time with the addition of oatmeal,treacle, rapeseed oil, walnuts and a mix of seeds giving it that nutritious feel.
Here it is, served with my own mushroom pesto, scrambled eggs, topped with locally produced sheep’s cheese, garnished with chives from my back garden. Go hálainn ar fad!
I'm now giving my mother, who is famous locally for her soda bread, a run for her money!

This ladies brown bread, and many other culinary delights, can't be beaten!!
I have devoured Noirin's brown bread on many an occasion. I can tell you from the horses's mouth that it is quite simply delicious while being nutricious at the same time!
The day the "local beetroot supplier" went AWOL was a sad day for Noirin. This lady loves the local produce, it's her passion! Love everything she does!!
"Noirin the Nutritious" .... yes nutritious by name and her food is Nutritious by nature!!!!
Her food is genuinely delish and she always cooks with local food produce. I think Noirin should win because her cooking philosophy is not too different to Cully & Scully's. She takes simple dishes like brown bread and turns it into something amazing. Cully & Scully take something like soup and make it into a gourmet dish.
A match made in heaven!!!!!!!
