Taking a risk and putting your dreams out to vote is not the easiest to do, so here goes… I’m a homecook, not a chef, yet! I’d love to create a range of tasty children’s meals. The joy of becoming a Mum in 2010, to Amaya, rekindled my love of cooking and most importantly made me passionate about what she eats. Seabass & cherry tomatoes and Bacon & Cabbage are some of her favourite dishes. Winning the Cully & Sully ChefFactor will give me the opportunity to pursue my idea. Please vote for me!

Soak bacon joint overnight in cold water and the next day cook in a fresh pot of simmering water. Don’t throw out the bacon water! Place the bacon on a roasting tray and trim off excess fat, cover remaining fat with a few cloves and a mix of honey, brown sugar, wholegrain mustard & orange marmalade. Bake in the oven until the fat becomes golden brown. Bring your bacon water to the boil and cook the cabbage for 15-20 mins. Serve with creamy mash potatoes & parsley sauce. Enjoy!

Honest to goodness food

You just can't beat a proper old fashioned dinner, simply good fresh ingredients cooked well - this is a favourite meal in our house - especially when we return from holidays
