I have a flair for cooking espically baking.I grew up watching my mother turning out fantastic creations and Ive inherited the bug!
I have a eye for detail and perfection which often leaves my family with the seconds after a baking day,much to their delight.
Cookery books are my obsession.I love to try out new recipes and make my own adjustments,finding new flavours and combinations.
My dream is to retire with a little cafe,just baking cakes and making people smile!

This cake was made for a local competition.Its a maderia cake made with our own free range eggs.Its decorated with buttercream and jam,finished off with ediable crystals and black pearls.

What this very modest entrant neglects to mention is that this cake was made for the 60th anniversary of the Bunclody Horticultural Show. She has been the overall winner of the cooking/baking class in this hotly contested local show for the last 3 years, usually entering up to 20 categories from cakes and tarts to jams and breads. Usually she has a queue of people hoping to buy her food after the event.
She has such a passion for food and spends so much of her spare time cooking and baking for others. Her skills have really developed over the years, and shes never afraid to try something new. She really focuses on the quality of her ingredients and most importantly taste! She would be such a worthy winner of this competition and would absolutely relish the training opportunity.

You should enter your crispy duck salad with plum sauce, mango and ginger..it's still my favourite!!..or your French onion soup!!
