Its time to call the experts in! I guess you can only teach yourself so much... I've always loved cooking and I'm fascinated by ingredients and methods/techniques which I want to learn more about. I want to learn to make even the simplest thing taste amazing and see what I can change to add my own personality and push the boundaries. I want the opportunity to make my dream a reality :-)

My dish is a pea,mint and ham soup dressed with with mint oil and croutons. I love the vibrant colour of the dish especially in winter when fresh produce isn't always easy to find! The flavours work so well together. Ingredients: Garden Peas mint leaves groundnut oil unsalted butter sliced shallots garlic unsmoked streaky bacon vegetable stock Ham Hock Bread for croutons
