I love food ! I have always had a passion for food and after a days work there was nothing I loved more than being in the kitchen and unwinding. I was made redundant recently and this had given me the kick I needed to pursue my dream, and not do a job I dont love. My dream is to one day have a homely restraunt serving good honest wholesome tasty food & most importantly making people smile with it. This prize would catapult me into that life, I will get there and I hoping this will be the start.
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
My dish is one of my favourite chinese takeaway dishes. Salt & Chilli Chicken with Stir Fried noodles :-). I love all food but Asian is my fav. The dish itself is a mix of noodles, veg (anything works really), tempura battered chicken (crispy out), and a dry spice mix. The secret is in the mix ;). Chicken is deepfried in the batter first, follwed by the noodles, stir fry the veg (peppers,onion,brocolli,spring onion), combine to noodles and then the chicken, cook in the dry mix and enjoy :)
