I think I should win Chef Factor because it has always been an ambition of mine to learn to cook good food but also to have an understanding of how kitchens and the food industry work. I believe the Ballymaloe course is an amazing learning experience where students get to learn the art of cooking but also develop an appreciation of all the other skills necessary to run a successful food related business (courtesy of C&S).
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
Blueberry Muffins with Cream Cheese Icing. I love muffins hence why I'm submitting them as my dish! The recipe is relatively straight forward: I mixed flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and baking soda then I mixed buttermilk, egg and vanilla extract and added it to the flour mix. I then added some melted butter and finally added the blueberries. Cook in preheated oven for 25-30 mins! The icing was made with icing sugar, butter and cream cheese!
Great with a cup of tea :-)
