Since I remember I love food- food is in the kitchen, that's why I'm always there. When I got pregnant with my first child, I started to bake- I craved cakes... Now anytime I can, I cook for friends and family. Cooking makes me happy, it's my form of art- flavors, smell,taste. My long time dream is to have my own cafe/bistro. At the moment I'm working as a waitress which helped me realise how important it's for me. Winning Cheffactor would give me confidence and knowledge to follow my dream.

My Lamb shanks are inspired by my partner and his love of spicy food. Lamb shanks are slow cooked in red wine, tomatoes and vegetable stew. Chick peas are lovely and still crunchy, meat is full of flavors- cumin, rosemary and garlic are dancing in your mouth, chillies gives that tiny kick, tomato sauce and red wine gives the dish fullness and makes it rich. Served with refreshing couscous, with touch of lemon, hint of garlic and cooling mint- delicious!
