I've been cooking and baking for as long as I can remember; it's a big part of who I am. When I consider where to travel, it's usually a taste trip I think about, rather than sun, sea, sights or culture!
I'd be in my element spending three months in Ballymaloe: their renowned cookery course has been high on my wishlist for years. This competition might be my only hope to make a dream come true!
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
Focaccia Bread, the traditional flatbread of Italy, has become my signature dish. I make it at least once a week, originally just for family, but nowadays, often for friends too. Sometimes I make the standard rosemary and sea salt Focaccia, but there are lots of optional toppings, from sliced onions to sundried tomatoes, or, most popular, my smoked bacon Focaccia. Here, I have an olive Focaccia on offer!
