I love food & I love cooking! My friends & I discuss food a lot & swop recipes over emails. I love watching cookery shows on TV, soaking up tips & new ideas. I would love to win the Ballymaloe cookery course so that I could learn technical culinary skills & take my love of cooking to a whole new level. It would be a dream to work in the food business, even having a little patisserie or a café or catering for parties; something where I can cook for people & make them happy!
You have 500 characters to tell us about your dish:
I started making this in school for cake sales, soon earning it its legendary status! Since then I’ve made it in bite-size squares, Valentine’s hearts, a Hallowe’en bat and even a trophy-shaped Champion’s League cake! I add a layer of Cadbury’s Dairy Milk and decorate with Smarties or white Buttons. My cake has grown up a little this time with the addition of Turkish Delight & pistachios & topped with a layer of dark choc ganache & sweet whipped cream & cream cheese icing. Simply Dee-licious!
